The worst possible thing has happened to the club, housing has encroached on our flying site and we have lost our lease.    Mavis Henson field has been a wonderful place to fly model aircraft.   It seems almost an impossible reality that after 24 years our superb field is history!  

We have until Nov of 2010 to find and build a new flying site.  We have found a new site and this time we are buying the land.  But we need your help.   As with any venture we need funds to make it happen.  The new site is located between Woodland and Davis just west of the Yolo county land fill off county road 28 (Map to the new site).  We are looking for Donations.  What ever you can give will help.   We are a 501c charitable organization and all donations are tax deductable.
